Class Policies
Thank you for signing up for a class with Heart Happy Glass! We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable creative environment for all participants.
Registration & Payment
Full payment is required at the time of registration to reserve your seat. Due to limited class sizes and preparation involved, spots are cannot be held without payment.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled class may receive a refund or studio credit.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled class date.
If you are unable to attend, you may contact us to see if transferring your spot to another person or class is possible, though this cannot be guaranteed.
No-Shows
Participants who do not attend their scheduled class without prior notice will not receive a refund or credit.
Waivers & Safety
All participants are required to sign a liability waiver annually before participating in classes or studio activities.
Stained glass work involves sharp glass, hot tools, chemicals, and soldering materials. By participating, students acknowledge and accept inherent risk associated with the craft.
Age Requirements
Unless otherwise specified, stained glass classes are intended for participants ages 16 and older.
Clothing and Safety Requirements
For safety reasons:
- Closed-toed shoes are required
- Clothing that covers legs is recommended
- Long hair should be tied back
- Safety glasses may be required during portions of the class
Project Expectations
Stained glass is a hands-on craft that requires patience and fine motor skills. Completion times may vary between participants, and some projects may require finishing outside of scheduled class time depending on pace and experience level.
Class Changes
Heart Happy Glass reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to low enrollment, instructor illness, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. In these cases, participants will be offered a refund or transfer to another class.
Respectful Environment
We strive to maintain a positive and respectful studio atmosphere. Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from class without refund.
