GENERAL QUESTIONS:
Do you take custom orders?
Yes! I love bringing your ideas to life. If you have a design in mind, feel free to reach out via hearthappyglass@gmail.com or @hearthappyglass on instagram with details. Custom orders are subject to availability, and turnaround times vary depending on the complexity of the piece.
How long does a custom order take?
Custom projects generally take 4-6 weeks, but it depends on design complexity and current workload. If you need something by a specific date, let me know, and I'll do my best to accommodate.
Do you require a deposit for custom work?
Yes, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to begin a custom piece. This covers materials and initial design time. The remaining balance is due upon completion before shipping or pickup.
PRODUCTS & CARE:
How do I clean and care for my stained glass?
To keep stained glass looking its best:
-Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
-If needed, use a damp cloth with mild soap and immediately dry it.
-For long-term shine, a light application of stained glass polish, pledge, or carnauba wax can help protect the solder lines.
Can my stained glass piece be displayed outdoors?
Most stained glass is best suited for indoor use. If you want a piece for outdoor display, let me know- I can recommend weather-resistant designs or materials.
Is stained glass fragile?
While stained glass is durable, it should still be handled with care. Avoid dropping or putting excessive pressure on the glass. If hanging, ensure it's strongly supported by a strong chain or hook. Avoid the use of suction cups.
ORDERS & SHIPPING:
Do you ship stained glass?
Yes! I take great care in packaging pieces securely to ensure safe delivery. Shipping costs vary based on size and destination.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because each piece is handmade, all sales are final unless there is damage during shipping. If there's an issue with your order, please contact me within 48hours of receiving it.
Do you offer local pickup?
We do not currently offer local pickup, however, this may change in the near future.
