• Able to work with hands for extended periods of time

Discover the magic of stained glass in this hands-on, intermediate class where you'll learn more advanced methods of the copper foil technique. This 4-hour session will guide you through each step- cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering- to create your very own sun-catching glass art to take home. Comes with custom wood base for display.

New skills learned in the intermediate class:

• Prevention methods for copper foil tearing
• Decorative soldering
• Mixed bordering, lead and tinning
• Wire detail
• Methods for cutting curves
• Techniques for smoother soldering lines

All tools and materials are provided. Just bring your creativity and a sense of adventure!

Project Options:

Participants will all be creating the same pansy flower pattern. During class, you'll have the opportunity to select your own color palette from a curated variety of beautiful glass to make your piece truly one-of-a-kind.

Safety Requirements:

For your protection, closed-toe shoes and clothing that fully covers your legs are required. You will also be asked to sign a safety waiver before class begins.
