Create your own mallard duck in glass. This intermediate-level class guides you through building a 7.5" x 11" stained glass duck on the water. This panel is built flat and then constructed to stand up on the pond.
Students will cut, grind, foil, solder, and patina their project from start to finish while learning techniques for working with curved lines, smaller pieces, stabilization with lead, and how to secure your piece into an upright position.
All tools and materials are provided. Just bring your creativity and a sense of adventure!

Project:
All particpants will be creating the same mallard duck on water panel. During class, you'll also have the opportunity to select your own color palette from a curated variety of beautiful glass to make your piece truly one-of-a-kind.
Safety Requirements:
For your protection, closed-toe shoes and clothing that fully covers your legs are required. You will also be asked to sign a safety waiver before class begins.
